Greeting fellow Lions:
Many of you know that I have been involved in helping to start the new Hilliard Noon Lions Club. They are now preparing to pull off their first fund raising project; they will be shuttling Franklin County Fair goers form the parking lot to the fairgrounds entrance in passenger type golf carts. The Hilliard Noon Club is a small club and this is a big project for them and they are asking for some fellow Lions from other local clubs to help by becoming a shuttle driver. I have volunteered to help on Monday 19th from 3 to 9 pm and would hope that some others might volunteer to help.
The following slots are still open: Sat July 17, one driver noon till 9pm. Sun July 18, one driver 11am till 9pm & one drive 2pm till 9pm. Friday July 23, one drive from 3pm till 9pm. Saturday July 24, two drivers noon till 9pm Sat.
I know that some of their shifts might seem long but the work is easy (you just sit and drive) and you might be able to work a deal with another Lion to split a shift.
