If the poster shows us TBDBITL today, this vintage OSU Band uniform (circa 1970), complete with plumed hat and original epaulets, gives a nod to an OSU tradition that is long-standing and ongoing.

Set of 5 First-Day of Issue Stamps / Envelopes

Lions International Convention in Chicago,  2007

On each day of the convention a different Lighthouse stamp of a series of five is used with the special day cancel. The Lion on the cachet is from the Bronze Lion statue in front of the Art Institute of Chicago.  The complete Convention set consists of five cachets.  Additionally, note that set is doubly unique because of its July 4th cancellation date.  These are very hard to obtain, in CDS (Cancel Date Stamp) format, as almost all US Post Offices are closed for Federal holidays such as the 4th of July.

LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL PEACE POSTERS

This charming reminder of brotherhood and diversity was named winner of this year’s International Peace Poster contest.
