Our first meeting of April featured guest speaker Susan Deitz with the Ohio Lottery. Susan gave us an overview of the lottery’s operations and a breakdown of how the funds are distributed including the part for education. Susan was deluged with questions from our members and answered every one except “What are the next winning numbers for the
Mega Millions?” Go figure.
Our second meeting in April featured two delights. First, it was our annual Scholarship Night (see next article) and we had a guest speaker, Capt. Kyle Andrews, USMC. Capt.
Andrews was a former Marine Corps Harrier jet pilot and gave us some of the ups & downs (pun intended) of one of the most remarkable aircraft of modern aviation. Almost like being there – and thank goodness we weren’t!
