Our annual Installation and Awards Banquet will be held on May 24th at the MCL. Installing officer and guest of honor to beannounced. All members are asked to attend and spouses or significant others are welcome to come. Dessert will be provided. This will be our last regular meeting of the Lions year.

Each member is asked to fill grocery bag of food that meet the needs of a family of four for two days.  The following should be included in each bag:

• 2 cans of meat (Spam, tuna, beef stew, etc.)
• 2 cans of vegetables (variety is great)
• 2 cans of fruit (variety is great)
• 1 jar of peanut butter, jelly
• 2 cans of soup (preferably chunky type)
• 2 boxes of macaroni & cheese or rice
• 2 boxes of Jell-O or pudding
• Flour, sugar, small package of powdered milk
• 1 box of cereal

These items are urgently requested from the Food Pantry:

• Toiletries, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, soap, deodorant, Diapers, all sizes
• Toothpaste and toothbrushes
• Coffee in small jars, or 1- and 2-lb. cans
• Powdered drink mix with sugar
• Tea bags, individually wrapped or small boxes
• Canned fruits, Pastas and Vegetables
• Hamburger/Tuna Helper
• Scalloped Potatoes/Pasta Salads/Box Side Dishes
