|Melvin Jones Fellow
The Melvin Jones Fellowship recognizes donations of US$1,000. It is the backbone of LCIF, providing 75 percent of the foundation’s revenue. A recognition of humanitarian work, an MJF is an honor presented to those who donate US$1,000 to LCIF or to people for whom a donation was made by others. Contributions can be made by individuals (including non-Lions), clubs or districts. Contributions can be made in one sum, or in installments of a minimum of US$100 over a five-year period. Melvin Jones Fellows receive an attractive lapel pin, a plaque and a congratulatory letter.
In honor and recognition of Past International President W. R. “Dick” Bryan, the Ohio LIONS Eye Research Foundation established a special endowment fund; the W. R. Bryan Diabetic Eye Disease Research fund, to support research into the prevention and cure of diabetic eye disease.
A club may receive a beautiful Founders Award plaque, to be given to whom ever your club desires, with a donation totaling $1000.00 over a four (4) year period. Engraved and personalized as requested. Contact your District Trustee for more information.
